I am not sure I like this bag. I feel like after the success of the Matelasse Satchel we saw being carried by Leighton Meester, Miu Miu tried to make a similar bag without putting much effort into it. Yes, it's Matelasse, and Matelasse is always good, but it lacks creativity and the design is simple and even poor. Definitely not feeling it. Buy the original Matelasse Satchel in Cuoio here.

The Matelasse Leather Shoulder Bag is back in stock. This time it's not only available in black but also in Cuoio. Perhaps a little different shade of Cuoio, a bit lighter. It doesn't really surprise me as nude tones are trendy this season.

As for the bag, I really really like it. The shape rocks and the matelasse is always really nice. Why oh why does it not go on sale? It would be better if it came in silver hardware, but I don't mind the gold tone one either. Buy through Mytheresa for 1250 Euro.
